Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Socialand YouTube Analytics (“the app”, operated by Socialand, “we”) accesses, uses, stores, shares and deletes data obtained from Google / YouTube when a YouTube creator connects their channel.

1. Data we access

Only after the channel owner signs in with Google and grants permission, we access the following through YouTube API Services:

YouTube Data API (youtube.readonly): channel ID, channel title, thumbnail, subscriber/view/video counts, and the list of the channel's public videos (title, publish date, view count, duration).
YouTube Analytics API (yt-analytics.readonly): aggregated reports such as views, watch time, average view duration, subscribers gained/lost, and audience age group, gender and country percentages.
YouTube Analytics API — monetary (yt-analytics-monetary.readonly): estimated revenue, estimated ad revenue, gross revenue, CPM / playback-based CPM, ad impressions and monetized playbacks.

All audience data is aggregated and anonymous as provided by YouTube; we do not access individual viewers' identities, the creator's Google password, e-mail contents, contacts or any other Google product data. We never write to, upload to, or modify the YouTube account.

2. How we use the data

The data is used only to show the connected channel's performance to the Socialand team in our private, login-protected dashboard, in order to plan and report brand collaborations with that creator and to advise the creator. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, selling, training AI/ML models, or any purpose unrelated to this feature.

3. Storage and security

We store the OAuth refresh token and basic channel information (channel ID, title, thumbnail, granted scopes) so the dashboard can keep showing up-to-date statistics without asking the creator to sign in again.
Analytics numbers are fetched live from YouTube when the dashboard is opened; short-lived access tokens (≤ 1 hour) and summary results (≤ 1 hour) are cached temporarily for performance. We do not keep a permanent copy of analytics data.
Data is stored encrypted at rest on Cloudflare infrastructure and transmitted only over HTTPS. Access is limited to authorized Socialand team members.

4. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share Google user data with third parties. Aggregated performance figures may be included in campaign reports prepared for a brand only for a collaboration the creator is part of. Data is not transferred to anyone else except our hosting provider (Cloudflare) acting on our behalf, or where required by law.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep the refresh token and channel information while the connection is active.
You can revoke access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions (or via Google security settings); after revocation the app can no longer access any data.
To have all stored data deleted, e-mail arda@socialand.com.tr; we delete the token and channel record within 7 days. When we detect that access was revoked, the channel record is removed as well.

6. Google API Services User Data Policy — Limited Use

Socialand YouTube Analytics' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. YouTube API Services

This app uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your channel you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

8. Children

The app is intended for professional creators and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

9. Changes and contact

We will update this page when our practices change. Questions, access or deletion requests: arda@socialand.com.tr. Turkish users also have the rights described under KVKK (Law No. 6698).

Socialand YouTube Analitiği, yalnız kanal sahibinin açık Google izniyle kanalın istatistiklerine salt-okunur erişir (kanal kimliği/adı/görseli, video listesi, izlenme, izlenme süresi, abone, toplu ve anonim kitle demografisi, para kazanan kanallarda tahmini gelir ve CPM). Google şifreniz hiçbir zaman görülmez. Yalnız yenileme token'ı ve temel kanal bilgisi şifreli altyapıda (Cloudflare) saklanır; analitik veriler panel açıldığında YouTube'dan canlı çekilir, en çok 1 saat önbellekte tutulur. Veriler yalnız Socialand ekibinin sizinle yürüttüğü iş birlikleri için kullanılır; satılmaz, üçüncü taraflarla paylaşılmaz, reklam veya yapay zekâ eğitimi için kullanılmaz. İzni Google hesap izinlerinden dilediğiniz an kaldırabilirsiniz; silme talebi için arda@socialand.com.tr (7 gün içinde silinir). Google API'lerinden alınan bilgilerin kullanımı ve aktarımı, Google API Hizmetleri Kullanıcı Verileri Politikasına (Sınırlı Kullanım dahil) uygundur. Uygulama YouTube API Hizmetlerini kullanır; YouTube Hizmet Şartları ve Google Gizlilik Politikası geçerlidir. KVKK kapsamındaki haklarınız saklıdır.
